the post was not aimed at you directly, i just quoted what you said b/c i get it ALOT, i am not a new aff. iv’e been doing this for years, and have made quite a few sites successful, and trying to get a link on someones homepage while burying their link in a link directory is nothing more than than trying to take advantage of a new webmaster, i however did place a site wide footer link to someone in exchange for a link on a pr6 page, this was not an attempt to take advantage thats a fair trade, a pr 3 like i said is easily achieved and yes i have made link pages pr3 on first updates, changing content and inbound links will make anything a pr3, i have a pr3 site that gets 50 hits a month b/c i ignore it, but none the less its still a pr3! Point is people put to much emphasis on what pr they have, i think its the dumbest thing to happen at google, and pr doesnt bring traffic, content does…..
