Yeah, that’s completely different.. the main reason you buy a link from the prof is to get direct clicks on that link, not to boost your SE ranking. You don’t need to buy links to boost SE ranking via this forum, you have your signature and lots of posts to do that
Of course purchased text links also bring direct click traffic, but an SE boost is a major factor that makes them more interesting.
