My two cents
The move doesnt have anything to do with this change. I mentioned that thread because Elgoog didnt connect Simon with VIP profits.
They are all one big happy family now and Simon is active here at CAP and could comment on the terms and condition question.
This change in the terms and conditions is nothing new and was mentioned to affiliates months ago. Upon many affiliates request we held off doing anything till now. In 9am.com we added an inactive affiliate clause that was extremely fair to all affiliates and no one complained about this. This worked very well and was rarely enforced.
Nearly all affiliates here should note that these terms and conditions should not affect them. The only affiliates to be truly affected by these changes are the ones who have ceased sending traffic for the past couple of years and making money from old players.
What we are trying to stop are writing small checks that most of them are undeliverable and turn out to be more expensive to write than they are worth (basically $15, $20 a month checks).
VIP Profits and 9am.com have both been overly generous in the past to affiliates and bent rules for affiliates to make more money.
We plan to be fair to each affiliate and notice will be given to affiliates should they fall into the category of not sending players. I plan for the funds not be taken from the affiliate, but be released when the affiliate starts sending sending players again.
Remember as Mario pointed out it not our intention to heavily enforce this but just to mkake affiliates aware of this. Most affiliates who have sent traffic to us will continue to get paid as normal. We are in support of affiliates, but also need to protect the best interest of the company.
