I have created my own experiment in order to partially satisfy my suspicions that “% of wagered” commission is MUCH less than “% of deposited” commission, affiliate programs.

Mathematically the comission could actually be more but is seldom the case.

After talking with the affiliate managers this is how I understand it.
Since it’s based on wagering you can figure the play-through. Assume the casino/game payback % is 97% therefore the casino profit is 3%

So ideally, a $10 deposit can generate aprox. $333.33 in play through. ($10 /.03)

My friend deposited $147.00 and played just slots games. He generated $1,353.85 in wagering for an actual comission of $17.60 (1353.85*1.3%). However, theoretically he could have generated $4899.95 ($333.33*14.7) for a comission of $63.69 (4899.95 *1.3%) which would have been higher that the rev share of $51.45 ($147*35%)
