Regarding Canada having PST and GST, I live in Alberta which by the way has one of the best economies in NOrth America and no PST. We have higher taxes to pay in Canada which give us back benefits in return and that is definitely one thing you do not get in the United States.
I remember back in the late sixties a lot of Draft Dodgers from the Viet Nam War coming to Canada and have chosen never to go back. For the amount that the American Government has gotten the people of the United States in debt you thinlk you would have gotten someting in return. What have you got back 0, A LEGACY OF INDEBT PER PERSON OF $29,000 USD.
I hope people heard the news today about the threat of your President Bush and his popularity with his being a threat to the World Peace. Check the following link.

By the way as a Canadian we are going to be forced to have to have a passport effective in the next year or so to come to the States. That is definitely a Crock, you Americans better learn that you need to have a right in what your politicians do, as they seem to me that they do whatever they want at the expense of the ordinary citizen.
One thing that your politicians have done AK Jackass George Bush is that they are alienating the United States from the rest of the World. Hatred for Americans is at an all time high in the Arab World especially in Iraq where seven in ten Iraqis want the Americans gone.
If you wonder why the States is targeted for terrorism, it isn’t hard to figure out.
One thing as Canadians we are the number 5 country ranked in the World for most liveable, check where the United States is.
