Merchant approval is usually very quick, one business day… unless information is missing about the program you wish to advertise. We only let in merchants which we feel have a chance of seeing real results on the network. If a merchant applies and describes their campaign as “Just want more info” or “I run a bunch of websites”, it’s not enough info for us to approve or reject right away and an account manager tries to reach the merchant for more info. After a few failed attempts at contacting the potential merchant, we reject the application.
Do know that you when you sign up as either a merchant or an affiliate, you must confirm your email address. Some people skip this validation or a spam filter kills the confirmation email… in such case the account is never created. Did you confirm?
