Hi People. Since a page from my site was mentioned here I read the topic and thought I’d throw in my 2 cents.
As a number of people have mentioned I do not believe there is a completely free standing horse racing program that uses affiliates available. Most sport books offer horse racing as a part of their package though but all of them would be classed as illegal under the new law. This would also include e-horse. The new law only gives exemptions to US based gambling establishements. But remember this law is basically about funding and players will find ways around that if they have their minds set on it.
On to e-horse. Although it appears as a free standing horse racing establishment they offer other gambling including casino. But people would be drawn off of the ehorse site and your affiliate account and tracking do not follow. So if your traffic is pure racing that’s not a huge concern, but many gamblers will play more than one game so if they decide to casino it also from this site you will not earn commissions from that. Also the starting 12.5% is very low commission wise in the market and there are few player perks compared to what others offer.
Partner Gaming on the other hand is a full service site. You can direct players directly to their horse racing page with your affiliate link and if they join, any poker, sports betting etc that may come from these players later on is accredited to you because they can access all from their single account. The same thing holds true for VIP Profits and a number of others. These also offer higher commission rates for the affiliates. In partner gamings case it is 30%. That’s almost 2 1/2 times what ehorse offers. So $50. at ehorse would have brought almost $125. They also offer regular player and affiliate incentives which is good on both counts.
Percentages aside though what it really boils down to is your choice of what you think will suit your traffic best. As affiliates even though the above are ones that continue to serve the US market you also need to realize that these are all outfits the US government is trying to block their people from accessing. Then again not all traffic and not all players are US based.
