Hi. Back from the weekend, thought I’d address some questions…
EPC = The average earnings per click on the network for a given campaign. It’s not a guaranteed amount you will earn, but simply a took for you to know how well the campaign is doing for other publishers. Unlike CJ who for some reason multiplies their EPC by 100, ours is a real per-click number. For example, if you log into the network as an affiliate, you’ll see the Mobile Sidewalk merchant paying $13.90 per lead with an EPC of $1.10. That means on average, affiliates are earning $1.10 per click for their traffic.
Some you might recognize (Bargain.com, Tickle.com, MobileSidewalk.com) and others you might not (TheUseful.com, True.com, lots of survey companies). There are many, so the best way to know the merchants is to either just sign up as an affiliate and check out the listings, or get a preview here – http://www.maxbounty.com/showoffers.cfm
I’m sure they are too. Whenever a problem is reported about CJ on the message boards, it’s usually just a single merchant in question who had a problem and not CJ as a whole. That said, CJ and MaxBounty.com are networks with a mostly different client base. We do have some campaigns in common (with actually better rates on MB) but the general rule is that CJ promotes mostly programs which pay a percentage of a sale, while MaxBounty.com mostly promotes merchants which pay a flat rate per sale or flat rate per lead.
Also just wanted to add another note about incentive traffic…. we work with many big incentive publishers, it’s a model that works quite well on MaxBounty since we have so many campaigns with a high affiliate payout and low-or-no surfer cost. (Case in point – Bargain.com paying $28.00 with a $1 cost to surfers.) We have real time sub-ID reporting for those incentive affiliates who require it.
This thread seems to be coming to an end so I just wanted to thank everyone for their interest in reading about us. I’m free if anyone has any further questions, here or privately. For those of you making the jump from casino to mainstream advertising, best of luck in your future promotions.
Thanks
JP Sauve
