Yes, that is true for France, but the problem is that this was like in USA, in a very grey area, but now the new laws they want to vote are very clear and scoldings IMO will be strong enough to scare operators just as USA has scared the majority of the operators… and they also CLEARLY target those who do ADVERTISING for them.
They want to keep their monopoly, and to satify EU just open the market to the french operators they want, it will still be monopoly, they just want to guard everything and take the maximum cash.
Why not regulate and open the market to all legitimate operators? Because they are as dumb as USA government and that the 2000’s actual climate of our poor democracies is more like hidden dictatorship.
