While i do agree that many sport betters use there skill to place bets etc but i would not say its a game of skill because you cannot infuence the outcome…..
betting on a football match of roulette spin as a better you have no controll over the outcome by no matter how much skill is involved but playing poker, you do control the destiny of the game.
Of couse blackjack you can say is a game of skill but the odds are still against you and you have no controll over that so i dont think you can class it as a game of skill…..
i think for anything to even have the chance of standing up in court there has to be no odds against you and you have to have control over the outcome of the game… basically games where you play against other people and not a “house” or “bookie”.
