The Safe Port Act is a piece of United State legislation that prohibits
the transfer of funds from a financial institution to an Internet
gambling site, i.e a legislation that will prohibit US Banks and other
financial institutions from processing gambling transactions.
States affected at present: Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Washington,
Indiana, Nevada, Oregon, Louisiana, South Dakota, New York and New
Jersey.
