Just a suggestion…
In the mean time lets find out what we need to do EXACTLY to be in compliance with the new law. As long as the ISPs dont block all of them there may be legal ways to generate revenue from these sites. Granted it wont be at the same levels as it was before legislation, but I hate to see peoples hard work literally given away without maximizing returns.
The Professor is right,
It doesn’t matter how successful your site has been so far.. This law can and will most likely prevent Over 30 Million Players and/or Potential Players from gambling real money online.
Whether your great portal has generated $200, $2000 or $10,000 each month.. That’s History under the current circumstances.
Moreover,
If you were selling links, advertisements, content or whatever you could sell on your site or using your site.. How many clients will you have in the next months?
And what about the programs?
Does your best converting programs still accept US Players? Will they keep accepting players for a long time?
I am sorry to be in the position of saying these words, it hurts me to say as much as it is painful to hear them.
But unless your site is something extraordinary and gets at least about 1000-1500 daily unique visitors.. It will not be worth more than a few hundred dollars at the best case because:
1. Traffic will drop down a lot. With 30 Million players gone, it will have impact on your traffic.
2. If you sell your site with or without the aff acounts. It doesn’t really matters as with US players gone and those who aren’t gone are not accpted by the casinos.. profits will free fall.
3. If your site generated additional income from links and ads selling.. this will also drop down { or vanish at worst scenario }.
Buying any gambling portal these days is a risk. Getting what you feel is a good price for your site might be impossible.
Me and a few other CAP members are offering a partnership solution that enables potential sellers to keep owning and operating their sites by hosting them abroad. This way you can keep earning money while getting rid of the risk.
I believe this is the best possible solution available considering the circumstances and the other options which are selling your site for peanuts or take down your site.
I wish i could pay more for sites i like to buy, but it is a great risk for me as well.. a risk that i can’t always afford.
