I am one of those strange folks who are fascinated by minimizing taxes and minimizing personal risk through incorporation. I read a book on tax havens a while back and while it may not still be the case, it extolled the 3 N’s as some of the best spots for confidential banking and a supportive government. They were also noted as nice island resort type destinations, although I am not sure how living there permanently would be. If I remember right, the 3 N’s were Nevis, Nauru and the Netherlands Antilles.
You might check it out, although a lot of it depends just how far under the radar you wish to fly. Google Nevis Tax Haven and you will find a wealth of information.
