The only way it would be possible for us US residents to move our sites to the UK would be if our payments were also sent to somewhere other than the US, correct?
What about the deal with Neteller – if they won’t be allowed to transfer payments from casinos to US based citizens, how would this work? Or do I have this all wrong? I get the impression that this stuff is still all kind of up in the air.
I would be interested in moving my site, but not if I find out later that I can’t receive my payments via Neteller because i live in the US.
Can anyone confirm this? Is there something I missed?
I think first and foremost your address for your domain registration needs to be moved out of the States. This is the biggest hurdle-IMO. This is what I am attempting to do first. Once your domain (s) has an overseas addy and you have an overseas Registra then the rest should fall in line. Web host (off shore), Neteller will have your new address. I don’t see why Neteller won’t transfer earnings to your bank because as far as they are concerned you are a just a customer, your not a casino transferring money to the US nor are you a gambler transferring money to a casino. Does this make sense? Feel free to shoot my theory out of the water. A lot of this depends on what guidelines Neteller decides to adopt. This will be take months to shake out, if not years.
