Now, that’s just right-winged propaganda being regurgitated – you know, the insurance companies and politicians who don’t want Americans to demand universal health care.
I’ve lived in both countries, and I can tell you that the taxes here in Canada are not much higher than in the U.S. On top of that, self employed people (and everyone else) have full medical coverage. According to an in-depth study at Harvard, Canadians are healthier because of that fact.
Don’t believe the myths you hear down there, is what I’m saying. Y’all have been spoon fed a bill of goods for years from the likes of Frisk.
