) I suggested this as soon as 4777 raised it’s head…if they can panic the industry like they have done, and show what *could* happen if we’re all naughty boys, they will get a lot more votes and pats on the back when they turn round and say “oh okay okay, we’ll regulate it then just for you”. Which they will…eventually.
This whole thing is about money (the moral arguments are a joke with the exclusions for horse racing and lotteries). So there’s $12Billion leaving the USA. Work out the tax on that! They are hardly gonna brush it under the carpet for ever now are they when they can be raking in $3Billion a year in revenue!
