I may be way out of line here but this thread struck a nerve with me. My comment doesn’t have a whole lot to do with gambling but it has to do with taxes. Being a smoker and a drinker it really pisses me off the amount of tax that I pay on a pack of cigarettes or a 12pk of beer. In my opinion these are luxuries because basically the tax I pay on them are equivelant to the luxury tax I pay on a hotel or a rental car when traveling. So why is it that a McDonalds hamburger doesn’t have an additional 18% tax added to it. You know why? Because it would affect the poor more than anyone. Go figure!:bullshit:
