It’s your choice wether to believe me or not. I gave you facts and some internal information. As much as you hate receiving spam, i hate dealing with the complaints. It’s time consuming, it’s damaging our client’s name as well as my name and i really don’t need that.
All my carreer i’ve been straight forward with every business partner, regardless of the size and the value of the business. This has far more value to me then anything else.
Laurent
HI Laurent, first of all thanks for finally replying again… I understand the situation in your area and feel sorry for every single guy living and/or doing business around there! BUT, this situation we got here didn’t start a few weeks ago, we talking here about over THREE months now…
I posted exactly the following to Caribbeanslots.net:
I dont really know if here are the same guys behind this like in the hi-roller spam, first because this time we got all domainsnames what make some sence not like the in hi-roller spamming used domains and on the other side this domains are mostly registered already in 2005…. The hi-roller spam domains were mostly registered a couple days before the spamming started…
That there were different affiliate ID’s are used to track oviously… That was also the same issue on the spamserver setup, all subfolders were having different affiliate id’s and the different subfolders were used in a manner what obviously was used to track the spammailings, why else we would get all the spam with the different folders.. Just to see what mailinglist was working best, to control the effectivness of the mailings…
I never accused you or casino partners directly of beeing involved.. What I for myself think, it another thing…. I know for shure that the so called third party “advertising agency” or the guys they work with are tied to the top 3 spammers in the www. maybe you read my former posts to this, this guys operate high profile spam operations since years, using open relays, putting up their sites on unsecured servers and, and, and…. The fact that those mailings from May till now came in almost at the same time like the mailings for all this other crap like viagra, luxury watches, stock market stuff and whatever else are all top earnings things in the spambiz and tie this guys behind to the same spammers what were advertising your properties…
They even sometimes forgot to change the subject line in their mailings, so we all became spam with subjects like “hiroller casino” and the mail itself was advertising some viagra and stuff… the sites for the hiroller spam were often hosted on the same servers like the viagra and luxury watches sites…. same guys behind it!
The point is that the same affiliate accounts of those guys are still active and are still used in spammailings… Nothing else is the point, they continue to spam for your properties using the same setup of their servers and the same affiliate accounts!!!
Thats the point what get’s me and everyone else hot, you telling us that you broke ties with this spammers and they were banned sending traffic to your network….
How did you do this? how do you bann them from sending traffic to your network??? Did you send them a mail and asked them to stop sending traffic, is that the banned you are talking about???
The only way to stop them and really bann them would be in closing the 70+ affiliate accounts involved in this spam wave!!! there is no other way to bann them! at least no effective way! if they don’t get their earnings out of the affiliate accounts they use in their mailings they would stop to mail ads for your casinos with them!!! they would in no way continue to mail any spam for whatever program if they dont get any money out of it… Your company is the one paying them! still!!!
Your company is responsable for this spam, or at least responsable for letting this spam going on for several months now, it would be easy for you to stop this within a few minutes just in closing down their affiliate accounts!
The next thing is that you guys keeping quiet for months, you guys failed to reply on a timely manner, to resolve this problem on a timely manner…. The problem could have been resolved several months ago within a few minutes! There are no excuses for it….
Like I said, I feel sorry for the situation happened in your area, but this spam started several months before this situation in Israel was getting out of hand…
Casino Partners also failed to reply to webmasters and failed to reply on several gambling boards to this issue, why did you never reply on GPWA or Casinomeister? the threads there are also going on for several months, you are aware of those threads, latest since they were put up for reference here… You still only reply here at CAP! why is that? What for a picture it gets us? what do you think?
Fact is that Casino Partners didn’t do a damn thing over several months to stop this, you did nothing to protect your name and the name of your casinos, the only thing what was done was that Casino Partners ignored all those mails and all those forwarded spam and all those threads going on since months all over the gambling boards and spamfighter forums all over the world….
You talking about:
The damages done to our brands, our affiliate program and our name is serious but i hope we’ll be able to fix it.
Casino Partners itsself is responsable for this damage done just by ignoring webmasters and all the informations posted, all the theads going on…
This damage wasn’t done to you by us, your webmasters or players, this damage was done by your guys in not handling the problem at all… Remember, you could have been stoppt this spam in minutes just by closing the involved affiliate accounts! The thing what really gets me is that even that you telling us that you broke ties with this spammers the mails are still comming in with the same affiliate accounts…
Thats actually the reason that Casino Partners and all casinos were removed now completely from my sites and from many other sites! We are basically tired of Casino Partners not replying and not taking action, letting this spam continue…. its filling up millions of mailboxes all over the world for several months…. what did you expect how we react? Just letting this happen, keeping quiet about this until this stops from allone?
Laurent, I actually feel kind of sorry for you personally, you’re the guy put on the spot, the only one trying to give us some explanations for why and how stuff was going this bad…. I also think that you can’t give us the answeres we are looking for… The only really thing to show that Casino Partners is concerned about this as same like we would be in closing the 70+ affiliate accounts what are still used, that would be the way to show that Casino Partners cares! My point of view… This actually would stop this mailings even that I think it wouldn’t stop the spamming in general! There would been opened new accounts with you and beeing used, it would then also your job to close those immidiatly when spamming starts with the new accounts… That really would show your intentions! By keeping this accounts open the spamming will not stopped, there are several servers out there still setup with hundreds of domains with tons of subfolders for your casinos and poker rooms, all wayting to receive some traffic from mailings… You just can’t bann those spammers in sending traffic with other things, cut off the money and the spam will decrese, don’t just put up a ANTI-Spam policy on your website, honor this what is written there.. Not just finding explanations why and how this could be happen, It’s happen because Casino Partners is paying this spammers every single month with all the money made in those 70+ affiliate accounts!!!!
Well it appears now that some people involved with these spam campaigns didn’t see that the same way or understood that they had to temporarly stop. Wether its our media buyers or the marketing agency that didn’t make it clear enough, i’m still trying to find out.
You don’t think that whoever is responsable for this continuing spam would have understud this if their 70+ affiliate accounts would have been disabled? What do you mean by temporarly stop? Just to get a little control in the issue or to get things quieted down??? what should we think about this now?
Wouldn’t it be time at least to close all this involved affiliate accounts down now? Don’t you think it would make a difference? Even if this step would be way to late it would show us at least something…..
