In my opinion – they are taking individuals (like webmasters) off of the mailing list, but continuing the spam.
I say this because every time I have been active and mentioning the emails, they suddenly dissappear. However, others are still receiving them, which means the campaign continues.
I think that CP is still using this outfit, but trying to be a little more ‘under the radar’ by NOT targetting gambling affiliates (or at least attempting to remove webmaster emails).
Just a guess. Yes, this is a disgusting AND illegal campaign.
