Hello. I am a techno DJ and unfortuanitly there arent very many good free programs out there. I am sure you can download a free trial of sound forge or cooledit but these cost money to register. If you are looking into producing your own music I would really suggest Reason. Even though its not free its well worth the money and they also have a trial. You could also try fruity loops that software is not free but there are cracks all over the web for it. Hope this helps
