That is the big question.
What is all the hype about PR?
Nothing that I can see – but you’ll see a whole lot of webmasters refuse to swap links with any site that has a PR beneath them. It’s funny to watch the posts – will only exchange with … blah blah blah.

Don’t let it affect your strategies, grow naturally, exchange links with quality sites – and let the PR worry about itself.

My main site is only PR5, most interior pages are only PR3 or PR4, but I can still grab a keyword on SE for sports gambling terms when I want – simply based on my sites URL and longevity (I think).
PR does not yet have any tangible benefits that I can see – yet – but who knows when google will go nuts on it?
