I’m new in the web design department, but my first impression was I thought the site looked great. Soft, not too busy the one thing that did throw me off was the menu on the right (except for the ‘Top Bingo Sites’ page). It doesn’t hurt to be different, just an old fart like me goes into panic mode if things aren’t placed where they usually are.
On the home page where you list the individual bingo sites and give a short description, I would make the font for the site names a little different – larger, bolded, underlined etc – so that it would stand out because you can’t see the name of the sites from the images of the landing pages.
Perhaps consider placing your newsletter registration in the top 1/3 of your page where it is more immediately visible to your users. Collecting opt-in email addresses are gold to an affiliate webmaster.
I also noticed when looking at your code that you had 2 different keyword meta tags on your home page. I’m sure you probably just forgot to delete one of them. The one I’m assuming you intend to keep is the first one and the word bingo is listed in that tag 11 times, I’m not real sure about this it may be considered spamming by the SE’s.
On all of your pages I would list a “Home” link on your menu otherwise if a user lands on a page that does not hold their interest they are going to either have to keep hitting the back button or scroll down to the end of the page to get back to your home page. This is probably no big deal as I have seen plenty of sites that don’t have “Home” on their main menu. Could just be my OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) kicking in. I would get a second opinion on this one.
The ‘Top Bingo Sites’ page I don’t think it’s really fair to ask for a home page banner placement on another site if you are not offering the same. I haven’t dealt with the bingo affiliations yet so I’m not familiar with their protocal but I can rest assure you with the casino affiliates this type of exchange would not fly. If it’s working for you that’s wonderful but you might also consider a reciprocal text link exchange with other bingo related sites. This in itself is time consuming no matter how automated your link exchange program is. I still don’t trust mine and go to everyone’s home page and make sure that my link is accessible from the home page. Believe me, there’s a alot of people that cheat at this little trade off. It would take me more time to figure out how to screw them out of a link than it would for me to be fair and post their link as promised.
I do like all your original content on your other pages, well written, informative, no overkill. I have to commend you for that. Wish I had half as much on my sites. Great Job! I’m don’t know how long your site’s been published but be patient because I’m sure that spider in due time will figure out what side his bread is buttered on.
