According to an Aussie that is a member of this group, it is now explicitly illegal to gamble online in Australia, apparently some “christian” senator forced the ban into another bill last year, but i’ll let him come and explain.
Online gambling is explicitly illegal in many US states, i believe Utah and Hawaii have banned all forms of gambling, since statehood. Washington state just passed a law and i believe several other states have passed such laws. Most state attornies general and the last 3 who served as US Attorney General claim online gambling is illegal. But, as far as we know, nobody has been charged in the US for gambling online, so there are no cases that test these AG claims.
