contact your buddy at the aff program and get some personal attention aimed at getting them back.
I’ve went as far as to request to add money to the MIA’s account over and above the casino’s already generous attempts to get them back.
I can’t remember now whether they let me or not?
I can say the whale(s) have come and gone but I like to think they just jump casino, not portal. 
often times i will see a jump at one program and at the same time see a drop-off at another so I’m confident that happens at least some of the time.
