I lost a whale once. It was the summer of 99, back when Casino Coins were running MGS and before Al Gore realised that he had invented the internet.
She was my first depositing player and i’ll never forget her. She dropped 12K in a matter of three months, and that time was spent together frolicking in the sun, running through meadows and picking daisies playing she loves me, she loves me not.
One day i logged in to check my stats, and ….. she was gone. No goodbye, no note, just her sweer scent lingering in the air. Even that faded after a while.
Life since then has never been the same. I tried to get over her with a string of reckless relationships, 20 dollars here, 50 dollars there, but nothing could ever make up for my loss. I eventually lost all hope and decided to end it all. In late 2002 i got several emails requesting me to renew my domain. Numerous attempts by my family and friends urging me to keep going proved futile, and by December of that year my modem gasped out its last tone.
Maybe CAP can help us organise a LOST WHALES ANONYMOUS. Just talking about this has made me feel so much better, and i’m sure theres many more of us out there who are going throught the same thing. If anything, it can help us bring closure to the whales we lost.
