I have received legal advice to the same effect as what was stated by AmCan. I am not surprised by what has transpired this week. The DOJ has prosecuted one sportsbook operator in the past and they achieved a conviction. Why anyone is surprised by this week’s events blows my mind.
The bottom line is if you promote sportsbooks you could end up in the line of fire. That’s why we don’t do it.
