888 and the unethical affiliates promoting 888 have inflicted serious damage on many webmasters in the industry; the reputation of the industry itself has been damaged as well. I am not about to remove or edit my rogue page simply because another 888 employee has “promised” to take action. I have seen this before; I will be very surprised if we see some actual results. (Yeah, I’m a bit skeptical — what can I say.)
Therefore, I believe everyone should keep their rogue pages as they are, at least until we see concrete results. We shouldn’t forgive them or downgrade their status to “probation” first, and then *hope* they keep their promises. Think about the reason they were blacklisted in the first place — “ethics issues.” To suddenly have faith in a company that has been blacklisted because of known ethics issues doesn’t make any sense to me.
:clapper: I’m with Dave too!
Cheers
