how do you know if they bookmarked?
Most all stats programs (including Awstats) consider any request to your server for favicon.ico as a ‘bookmark’.
This can be misleading, as the firefox browser requests favicon.ico everytime it loads a page, so your ‘bookmark’ stats will be way off, if you have people using the Firefox browser coming to your site.
