I actually started working on a website with a few friends of mine a couple months ago.. we have a graphics guy, a sports junkie, and ofcourse myself for content.. The new site will have article subscription options, starter packages *thnx to your idea 
* and ready to go webpages with current content, such as each months bonuses etc.
This week we are getting the hosting all switched over, next week or so the site should be ready for visitors
