There is also a federal law that makes advertising fall under the free speech amendment. Advertising is free speech. We haven’t abolished that yet!

Dom I love your research here, and am totally ignorant when it comes to these matters, i’m more like a parrot.. hunney i read this.. then he argues it, always ;) which is good, because it gets me to look at things from different points of view..

When I mentioned advertising being free speach.. he brought up the Camel cigarettes ‘Joe Kool’ being banned because they said that they were advertising towards children.. and the fact that it is also not legal to advertise cigarettes on the television, etc.

I know there was a law suit involved, so maybe they settled? Any thoughts?
