The state of Nevada already has laws that expressly prohibit internet gambling. With that in mind you as a resident of that state promoting online gambling might be just as much be a target for aiding and abetting as those in Washington.

I don’t know where you get your information. We actually were, I believe, the only state in the union to pass a bill legalizing online gambling. The only reason Nevada does not have tons of online casinos right now is because of the federal ban on online gambling.

We are fine over here. We actually have wire betting (remote betting) in the state. Additionally, we have no ridiculous laws forbidding discussion on the topic of gambling. Imagine if we did. Everyone for all WPT tournaments held here would be rounded up for having a site (like a blog) that talks about gambling and links to an online poker destination like Party Poker, Poker Stars and so on. Now, that would be funny to see. Come on Doyle, you are under arrest. :D

Oh, we would have to hall in ESPN and FOX too, because they have daily gambling radio shows on their national networks here.

Additionally, major gambling companies here are trying to get online wagering legalized. BTW, the go ahead was given recently for WiFi gambling on casino properties. The gambling will be done on handheld devices. You can take them to the pool, bar, restaurant and so forth. Smaller casinos will probably try them first. It’s all part of the long term plan for a cashless type playing floor.
