This is my first post, but I have been reading the posts for over a year and I been a member for around six months, this is by far the best forum I have found for gaming affiliates.
I live in the UK, the government are also tightening up the laws here. They are not banning internet gambling like they are in the Washington, but they are changing the laws to make things more difficult for us. They try to make out it is because they are concerned about gambling addiction getting out of hand, if this were the case then why are they opening up 13 new land based casinos in the UK. We all know the real reasons, if they had a tax on it and money wasn’t leave the economy none of this would be happening.
If you live in Washington I think you really only have three options available and none of them are very good.
You could move state but you will probably have to move again within a couple of years. Washington State is first but I can imagine other states will follow very quickly. You could elope, I have heard antigua laws aren’t to bad when it comes to gambling (lol) and the weathers not bad either.
You could stand up and fight, you will need a good lawyer ready when they come knocking and even then chances are you still won’t win. If you lose you will end up in jail and if you win you will probably be in thousands you $ dept from all the legal costs.
The third option is cut your losses and stop affilating for internet gambling. I would probably take this option myself, I couldn’t be bothered to move and I wouldn’t be keen of the idea of becoming BUBA’s Bitch :Cry:
