I’m a Washington resident …read the newspapers daily however there has been no coverage of this in any of the local news. I’ts so vague (the law) yet the penalties are extreme …. I was on a local TV news show several months ago so I’m certain there are people who are aware I’m operating in Washington State.

For those of you who are the outside looking in I can understand your disconnect from the problem… but to be honest with you … It scares the crap out of me. If other states follow suit you won’t be on the outside much longer and no one is safe…. this business could potentially be doomed.

I’m considering transferring my domains out of Washington State and curious if this might circumvent a potential problem.

Any ideas about doing this ?

Moving your domains out of the state won’t matter. You will still be committing a crime and now compounding it by your actions to circumvent the law, which my carry additional penalties.

I live in Vegas and don’t see any law like this happening. However, I am very upset at the Washington law. Seattle is like a 2nd home for me and I was considering going to law school at UW. I don’t mind not makling money from affiliate programs, but the whole “gambling information” issue bothers me.
