Yes – if it is website referrals, then this is correct
However…. If this program ran on Nick777’s computer and changed the username (via cookie, registry or however they are holding info) ‘on the fly’, then this guy could certainly register a bunch of domains while Nick777 paid for it even.
It’s all programming and very likely that someone would be able to figure it out.
Good thing you found the program and removed it.. Maybe it affected more than just domain names.
