Unbelievable. Talk about a stupid business decision. Putting all of one’s eggs into one basket is a recipe for disaster.
I will never forgive 888 for this. Two, three years from now — if they are still around — and if they have cleaned up their act — I will always remember the day they slapped the majority of their affiliates in the face. Unbelievable.
Their management feel that the number of players he brings in each month more then offset any losses they would face by ANY action all the remaining affiliates care to take.
Stupid, stupid, stupid! There are thousands of affiliates who don’t promote 888, who are going to pull out all the stops and beat the living sh*t out of this company in the public eye. NOBODY is going to sit back and watch while some thief steals their content and profits from it. The anti-888 movement is already strong, and it is only going to get stronger. Soon this will make its way into the newspapers….
Regarding ‘clasys’ — how can we hurt this guy’s income? Destroy his servers? Is this one of the 4 scrapers you mentioned earlier? I would like to see him out of this industry as soon as possible. How to get that accomplished is another discussion entirely.
Professor, you are to be applauded for taking this step. Surely it wasn’t easy, especially considering the amount of money you have earned with them over the years. Hats off to you.
