Hi All My Great Friends,
In times like these it is great to have friends that care so very much. Thank you all for your kind thoughts and prayers.
Who was Jackie Leonard?
First and foremost, she was a wife whom trully “stoodby her man”. No matter what direction life took them she was right there standing by him with undying love and devotion.
Second, she was a mother. One that faced the ultimate of tragedies. Losing a child before it’s time at the age of 13 months. A mother whom cared for an adult son with a disability while raising another son and finding time to play dodge ball and later teaching him to drive.
Third, she was a grandmother. One who took the time to play Barbie Dolls with her granddaughters and sacrificed her time to care for them as their parents worked. A grandmother whom had to endure the loss of a granddaughter when she would have gladly taken her place. Last but not least she was a Christain. Serving the Lord by teaching Bible School, Sunday School and searving on the Women’s Circle at Church. Through all the tragedies, disappointments and blessings she never wavered from her belief in God.
