Thats the problem in a nutshell. Imagine you are a shop keeper and you have five salesmen. One produces 1000 sales per month, the remaining four produce 20. One day the four low selling salesmen come into your office and say the top producer is stealing their ideas and copying their sales techniques, that’s why HE is making all the sales while they have trouble producing their 20. They demand the owner fire the salesmen who’s making the 1000 sales. They cant guarantee once hes gone they will make the 1000 sales he was bringing in, but they dont care, its not “fair” and they want him gone.
If you are the shop keeper how do YOU handle this?
Yes, I know, if he never hired the super salesman none of this would be happening. And yes in a perfect world people wouldnt have to make choices like this, but this is the hand he has to work with.
