1. To let 888 know the depth of affiliate anger over this situation.
2. To set the example to other programs of what hell THEY could go through if they turn a blind to scrapers.
3. Hopefully 888 will at least reduce the amount of scraper activity going on out of sheer embarassment.
That being said if Shelly doesnt continue to make MEANINGFUL forward movement on this I am going to de-certify them. Its very close now, but since they did blink and are moving Im extending their life a little while longer.
I’ve been in contact with Bryan Bailey concerning Cassava. He is going to give Andrew Beveridge at eCOGRA a heads up and will be looking in on the thread here on Cap in the 888 forum.
I have also made him aware I will be pitching a bitch with him concerning Cassava on Friday, should Shelly and 888 not provide guarantees that they will close down each and every scraper account reported to them – Starting with the massive lists of scraper sites provided to them here on CAP.
I feel it is important that Bryan looks into this as he is not an affiliate and will also offer an impartial and honest appraisal of the situation.
I am hoping that Cassava will agree with our stance and work with us, but I do not hold out too much hope.
