Well, I think you need a logo header at the top of the home page. I would also suggest that you lower the font size of the main body text and use paragraphs to delinate the main ideas. It just makes for easier reading. Most people just skim headlines, very few read all the words.
Keep the home page affiliate links under 100.
Other than that, I have no idea how to promote a sports book site or what would help in that area.
