Though I am in no way questioning your statement that this type of thing converts a certain percentage of players, speaking from a personal standpoint, I despise popups. I run 3 different popup blockers at all times so I don’t have to look at them. Furthermore, if someone is underhanded enough to figure out how to invade my viewing pleasure with a popup that gets around my blockers, I make sure they never make a single penny from me. Now, I may be the only person in the world that feels like this, but that is why I don’t have popups on my site.
