That’s insane. In Florida its a little warm for seal fur, but I would have thought people would not purchase seal skin products based on the press these hunts received in the past.
This practice should be outlawed. There is no good reason for people to harvest skins from seals. This sort of barbarism is unacceptable.
While I don’t have a problem with regulated hunting for food or even population control in species that might face starvation due to their sheer numbers. I do NOT believe in killing animals for pure sport or vanity.
