I tried the ABUM $1 offer on Sunday, January 29, recieved 15 clicks ctr 0.01%. It looks like ABUM has replaced that slot with adwords now though.
For advertising, I use adbrite, but I babysit it very carefully. It is expensive and it would be easy to lose your shirt there. There is a tonne of fraud there too (like most paid internet advertising right now.)
