I’m not happy with some parts of that email:

…you must conclude that it should be afforded separate treatment from gambling…

But other points are very well-written:

…Ironically, many in Congress recently chastised China for forcing ISPs to regulate content that Chinese citizens could receive, yet those same lawmakers now find it acceptable for the U.S. government to censor the Internet…

Overall, Poker Alliance is seeking to divorce itself from other forms of online gambling, essentially throwing eveyone else to the wolves. Basically, I see them saying: “It’s best not to ban anything, but if you must, make another exemption for poker, cause it’s a game of skill, played by kings and presidents.”

Not the message I want to send out to anyone.
