At first I thought it might be possible. But after calmer thought I think we may be just getting a little ahead of ourselves here and perhaps a little paranoid.
I just can’t see the US public standing still for such a filter.
for one thing there are a huge number of sites out there which have nothing to do with OG but that still have the words gamble, gambling, etc in their site text.
I for one would feel like the world truly had come to an end where the Nazi’s won if ever such a scenario would present itself.
Quite frankly I think its one thing for the US gov to pass a law saying its illegal to gamble online (though I’d still be enraged) but a whole other thing when the bastards come into my bedroom and prevent me from having that choice of breaking the law or not: cause right up until that time of breaking the law; I ain’t done nothing wrong. And damn if they have the right to “profile” me and have the gall to say they know my intentions before I’ve done them.
Ain’t gonna sit well with very many people.
In fact I can’t even see some of those adamantly against OG saying something of this magnitude being okay. It reeks of everything the USA is not about: at least not in the hearts of the people. And I think some of these politicians are greatly kidding themselves if the think a move of this nature would be accepted by the people; gamblers or not.
