Some of my sites have also just got their page ranks for the first time. Odd thing is, the site I update daily(the lottery one) is still sandboxed. My slots site that i last updated in October got a pagerank of 2, same thing for my poker site.
I guess they think my lottery site is a spam site for some reason,
