Letter from Tradal posted in thier system (see below)

Looks like the first sign of a potential settlement in favour of the affiliates.
Props to those affiliates who stepped up to put pressure regarding this situation. I hope those affiliates who have a large number of Empire players now feel a bit comfortable regarding this negative impact situation.

I hope this proves that the affiliate community when we stick together is a very powerful force than if we act on these type of situations alone. It is clear that the affiliate pressure on both parties in this transaction had enough impact to get a satisfactory resolution.

I agree with everyone posting here that as the consolidation of the online gaming industry escalates and the traditional land-based casinos enter the online space (bound to happen) these kind of threats will become more prevalent. The affiliate community when we act together is a VERY powerful force to the income potential of these online properties.

Kudos who took an active stance in this process.

Dear Affiliate,

We would like to inform you that as part of the agreement made between Empire Online and Party Gaming, we will be getting the activity stats for players who joined Empirepoker.com up until 14th February 2006.

These stats will be available on your Tradal account to see and will be updated daily as per usual.

This means that you will be paid for your players’ activity as before and will be able to track their performances on a daily basis.

Payouts will be done as usual, along with your standard traffic fees.
*Please note that this will only include players that registered before 15th Feb, 2006*

We apologize for the uncertainty and inconvenience that has happened in the last couple of weeks, but may we assure you of our commitment to deliver good business and high value into our partnership.

For any question, please contact your affiliate manager or email us at [email protected].

Kind Regards,
The Tradal Team
