If you have no programming experience, you better stick to HTML. ASP is a mid-level programming language that takes years to master, maybe weeks to pick up the basics. ASP.net is an advanced programming language, and if you have mastery of that you should be able to top a six figure salary pretty quickly. The point is, ASP and ASP.net are not something you can learn overnight. PHP is considered a bit easier to pick up, but you still need to have some programming experience. Otherwise if you are just looking for a way to build a website, pick up a copy of Dreamweaver. You should be comfortable enough to build a site within a couple of days learning that.
