The first thing I notice on the site is content about betting on the Superbowl. I think since your website is about poker, you’re diluting the focus of your site by placing that so prominently on your page.
I’m not a big fan of the tiny font that you’re using on the site. I’m getting older now, and when I come to a website with a font that small, I just leave rather than giving myself a headache by squinting at it and trying to read it. That’s just me though; apparently a lot of folks like the small fonts, because there sure are a lot of websites using them. (This comment relates to the poker reviews; it looks like the content on some of the other pages is in a larger font.)
I’m not sure how much money you’re making with the Adbrite ads every month, but if they’re generating a good value for the advertisers (lots of click-through’s), then that would explain why you’re not seeing many affiliate conversions.
