I’m one of the people that always sets my preference to hidden. I do this to avoid being PM spammed. If people see you on the board then they are more likely to spam you because they know you are sitting in front of the screen. There’s no underhanded reason why I do it and I happily put a site or two in my signature so I’m not trying to hide anything. Unfortunately, once again it looks like the losers of this world are ruining it for the good people.
