The more legal way….
Pay $0.99 per song (not really that expensive anyway).
You can then burn any songs to CD right from the iTunes software. I would do that first.
Then go ahead and copy it to the iPOD.
The reason I do it this way with my iPOD is that if I ever want to copy the music to another place, I can just RIP the cd with Windows Media Player.
iTunes only lets you play the song on a certain number of ‘devices’, however, if you burn it to CD then you can just RIP it to mp3 and copy it to as many devices as you want.
Maybe not perfectly legal, but the way I see it is… If you buy the song, you can copy it to however many devices you might have!
